About Dobbins Middle
Mr. J. A. Dobbins owned the land on which the school is currently located. A bus driver of 38 years, J. A. Dobbins owned his own bus and was a postal employee. The doors of J.A. Dobbins opened in March of 1997 to an anxious group of students, as they had to be schooled at East Paulding Middle and South Paulding Middle Schools until the building was complete.
